The "Get it on Google Play" badge is much lower resolution/quality than the Apple one, it looks pixelated and they seem to be sized differently. Edit: The screenshots you're using in the app stores, you've chosen wh

Unhelpful? I provided directions for reviewing the settings, which this person could have simply looked up by visiting the link in the title. Rude and condescending? That's subjective, but maybe yes it might have been rude and condesce

Did you consider reading the details linked or going to Settings => Location and looking? Seriously. How did you even install GrapheneOS without a little bit of self-determination?

GrapheneOS only targets and is officially supported for Pixel devices. You might want to look at LineageOS as an alternative if you want a cheap device, but GrapheneOS is on a whole different level for security and is highly recommended.

This is an interesting service, it's Twilio in the back or something custom? The main page has generic theme vibes and needs a little better full product branding, colors don't complement each other, it just looks lazily slapped t

The site has a weird mixture of case. Some headings are capitalised while others aren't, doesn't seem to follow any specific reasoning -- might want to take a look at that.

Heh. Still no dark mode, it's almost as embarrassing as HN not having a dark mode -- yeah I said it. https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34263628 Will another 10 years go by and there still won't be a dark mode f

I used Reach Native (and specifically, with Expo) to target both iOS and Android. Yeah there's a bunch of dependencies to keep up on. It was my first attempt at mobile dev, was quite enjoyable, and straight forward with lots of good do

It does look good, definitely agree. How does sync across iPad and iPhone work? Apple servers or what? Ideally that would be spelled out for privacy-conscious users.

GrapheneOS has a feature to auto-reboot the device if it hasn't been unlocked in X hours. Set it sufficiently low, and it's a pretty good option to ensure keys are evicted and if you use a SIM pin, it's even better.
