I’m finishing up a DIY ground install and just the conductor from the array to the service panel cost the same as about 3 panels. It’s about a 150 meter run. Some very rough numbers from memory: - 20 panel + 10 microinverter bundle: $5600 -

I’ve even resorted to using actual markdown files on disk for long sets of work, as a kind of long term memory meta-plan mode. I’ll even have claude generate them and keep them updated. But I get what you mean.

Plan mode is the extent of it for me. It’s essentially prompting to produce a prompt, which is then used to actually execute the inference to produce code changes. It’s really upped the quality of the output IME. But I don’t have any habits

Right, “parent branch” implies a tree structure, but git is a DAG. You might have a specific workflow such that you can actually answer your question, but it won’t generally apply to all repos. Since a branch is really just a label for a sp

My hot take is that quality is inversely proportional to income. The more someone is paying for something, the more bloodsucking mercenaries are attracted to it that have less consideration for the quality of the output than for their own e

Yep, I have a Shun with micro serrations ([0]) that will slice a tomato so finely you basically feel no resistance. The only downside is that you can’t really hone or sharpen it yourself so you have to baby it. I’ve had mine about 15 years

That’s where a lot of mess comes from, so I’m very interested in this tech. The worst are cucumbers, they stick to the blade and new slices pop them up and they roll everywhere. I get some better results by slightly angling the blade but it

It’s a lot more high-level executive functioning now, instead of grinding through endless syntax and boilerplate. Easy to mindlessly code to music, much harder to think about what you want to do next, and evaluate if the result you just got

Sounds kinda like StumbleUpon with comments. I'm not sure I'd like to host unmoderated content on my site, but I do miss the original StumbleUpon experience. Reading through the history of what happened to StumbleUpon in the 2010s
