I am pretty surprised they don't compete with Stripe. They have some Amazon pay thing I'd never use, but competing with Stripe seems obvious. Same with Twilio. They do kind of compete with them, but not really. Their managed airfl

Going to space is important, and we should strive to fill the sky with space structures housing trillions of people. Yes, the consequence will be a changed view, but the upside is so high, orders of magnitudes more people than have ever exi

We have everyone use a real photo in slack and emails. Over a hundred have been successful, without issue, without professional photographer. This is not as hard as others made it out to be.

No USB-C option that I could see. I currently have an Android with USB-C and a MacBook Air and having the same port for both devices is so luxurious when traveling. This plus an Anker charger/ battery hybrid means I never run out of ju

I am an online merchant. The visa Mastercard fees are enormously high, so not. We are not "happy to pay it". The 3% is not to cover any consumer protection, that cost is born by the merchants. When a dispute is made by a customer,

This article is so flawed in so many ways. The most obvious issue is failing to show the actual safety statistics! I mean, at least start with the obvious starting point: that nuclear energy's record is that it is one of the safest for

We want businesses and entrepreneurs to try new things with real estate, just like any market. I strongly believe that our physical spaces can get better/cheaper, but only if you allow investment and risk taking. The main issue at the

I hate the visa/Mastercard duolopy and the way people attempt to use the networks to regulate things. Card networks should be an open carrier to all, not subject to political whims. It's just too dangerous to have payments anythin

There are many good reasons for real estate to be an investment vehicle. You won't convince someone to build a new apartment building if they can't make money. In fact, we really really want people to build more, better housing. T

I would hope we actively plan for much cheaper launches with Starship coming online. It seems like we can do many more projects, at lower cost and higher risk than before, because launch costs are low. Instead of $1-$10B projects focus on t

I cancelled Hulu for a few months simply because I was watching a romantic comedy and they showed a Horror commercial that was so gross that I cancelled on the spot. I don't like political ads, but there are good arguments for them. Ad

Hi, I am curious if you might consider publishing directly to the stores (Kindle) as a free book (or $0.99). It would make it easier for people to access. I am an engineer but failed to try and get a kindle book downloaded and read last nig

I personally was wrong in that I thought AVIF would be the last traditional codec, and future progress would come from ML based compression. But JPEGXL is very impressive. I do think we are close to the end of the road for this approach tho

The iPhone is still too thin. My wife has a brand new iphone and battery lasts about 8-10 hours in her normal use (she does a lot of text/photo/video but it is not continuous). An extra 50% battery would be an amazing win.
