There are probably a lot of good answers to this question, but why not just use velcro? If velcro isn't strong enough then I'm sure that designing better velcro would be easier than designing this.

Why can't Python have transpilers like JS does? Adding types to Python like Typescript could be a good thing.

Was the push towards humanoid robots a PR gimmick? I would think the ideal robot would look very different than us and not have the limitations that our bodies have. Airplanes don't flap their wings.

IMHO, Moore's law could continue, but with a period of time where it is interrupted. In other words some years where it is polynomial instead of exponential and then it will return to moore's law. This is based on the idea that t

I would have to go back and watch the episode, which I may do. My memory of it was just the simple relapse rate, which would have to be based on a period of time. I don't know where they got the numbers to compare to AA, but I assume

The TV show Bullshit, written and hosted by Penn & Teller, did a show on AA. AA accidentally posted their recidivity rates on the internet and the numbers were shown. They showed that there was zero advantage of going to AA. That doe

I find the cute "tax" metaphor to be a stretch. Charging only customers isn't a tax. Does this mean every hugely successful business is taxing customers? So windows in the 90's was taxing business?
