Depends on what your dehumidifier and related equipment is. On the other hand, distilled water isn't necessary to maintain the purity of your bodily fluids.

SF's population declined between 1950 and 1980, and it's homicide rate between roughly 1970 and the mid-1990s was up to 2 or 3 times what it is now.

According to the chart, the current homicide rate is about 7/100,000. I found a spreadsheet showing homicides going back to 1849. The rate between 1968 (happy birthday to me) and 1996 is significantly higher than now, bouncing around b

You could think of many of the formal tools outside of dependently typed programming as design by contract plus a thingy that complains if the contract doesn't work.

Got a blank page. Sorry I missed the mention of SPARK. TLA+, although I haven't fiddled with it as much, is more similar to Alloy than anything else. SPARK actually works on Ada code.

That's actually what many formal tools excel at. Of course, you have to do have to define "never promised that behavior" which is extra work that nobody wants to do.

One advantage of formal methods is in determining "what was expected" (including all the goofy edge cases) without having to burrow into the details of code. Take a look at Alloy ( http://alloytools.org/ ) and TLA+

I'm not sure if the author is here, or if my comment attempt was successful. So, can I suggest you take a look at a third leg of the formal methods stool? If you are familiar with C, check out Frama-C ( https://frama-c.com&#x

It usually isn't. Reference counting is good when you need to rather tightly limit memory use, are wedded to RAII, or need something simple enough that a programmer can knock it out in an afternoon.

Can you get 3-way LEDs? I have some 3-way lamps and I've been casually looking for bulbs but haven't found any. (Yes, I know I could search online and order them. It's not that important.)
