Or she is a programmer working with a sensible programming language with sensible standard library (e.g., Python). I would really like to like NodeJS, JavaScript is not that bad language in itself, but missing standard library is a problem

File systems take A LONG time to stabilize, and you want them stabilized well, because if there is a bug in httpd, you just restart it, if there is a bug in filesystem you loose your data. See BTRFS. Started in 2007 and it is still not stab

With Signal you cannot even choose a repository from which to download its client. You either give your credentials to Google, or you are out of luck.

Just use OpenStreetMaps (aka https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.osmand ) and download half of Europe if you wish. Just works, and the navigation was for me (at least in Italy) better than with Googl
