Interesting. Is the physical screen ideal or are software solutions expected to have similar efficacy? I wonder if it's possible to make an android app that does this globally. What's your business model?

Y2K would negatively impact companies' bottom lines if not dealt with, directly, in a short and known timeline, in predictable ways. Climate change will impact companies in different ways at different times. Oil companies, for instance

Has anyone read the book referenced at the beginning of the blog article, "The Power of Habit"? Or a similar book? If so, would you recommend reading it?

There's also the classic, "Nobody knows how to make a pencil." That kind of "nobody knows" is about the complexity of many large interconnected systems, and the deep wells of knowledge, theory, and history in each o

We already have the solutions. We need to act. We can't pin our hopes on future options when the crisis is now and we're not using current options. We need to stop using fossil fuels. Full stop. Nuclear and renewables. Trains and

Obligatory "depends". I'm aware of more than one company that uses postgres for huge datasets serving workflows with high throughput and importance. It's truly a workhorse, it's comparatively a pleasure to work with

I didn't see that option on mobile, but I got it added. Click the search provider icon in the search bar, go to search settings, then manage search providers, then add new. Add it with this url: https://stract.com/searc

The licensing choice is smart. "Permissive" licenses permit closing off something built largely on the work of the open source community. Zed is made by the Atom guy and the Tree Sitter guy. Atom was MIT licensed. I wouldn't

Weird how so many streams end at the Massachusetts state line. Not the dev's fault of course. I've noticed a similar difference of how rock formations are recorded at state line boundaries on USGS maps. Dealing with different data

I think PDML hits a sweet spot. The author didn't set out to recreate XML in a less verbose, more human readable syntax, but pretty much ended up doing so. I'd like to see it mature and gain more widespread adoption.

It would be cool to integrate Tree Sitter into a VCS. It'd be more flexible if that were an option for a project/folder/file, but also offer a text diff option for readmes/docs or for if someone is using the VCS to write

Since it's relatively low pressure (5% of a hydrogen fuel cell), couldn't they have larger batteries for grids? The current size would be great for homes.

I use the Ian Knot. It didn't take too long to get used to and it's nice and quick. Feels like a hack. I recommend it if you have enough extra focus-energy left in your day to put some thought into shoelaces.

Replying to my own comment. Just read through the TOML spec for the first time in years and its tables are essentially dictionaries. Don't know if that was added later or if I just missed it earlier. I'll consider using TOML for f
