Would you care to elaborate on which app stores. I can see how people can make money developing mobile apps, but is it possible to get a decent revenue from say Chrome Webstore.

This is really amazing, just spent a few mins trying to pick out objects. The Andromeda galaxy, the pleiades and the Orion nebula stand out in the photo in a very similar way to the real night sky.

This is really good, it would be good if there was a way to use these kind of things as screen savers. There are so many good browser visualizations!

I bought an iPad2 the other day, the apple shop girl seemed pretty shocked that I had never owned an apple device before and even more so that I had never used iTunes. I might have showed her my £10 phone but that might have been too much f

The group your tabs feature in FF4 is very useful. The bookmarks manager is much more advanced than chrome.

Great article, particularly like the Top, Bottom or Somewhere in the Middle section. I had never considered how the position of e.preventDefault() would make a difference.

I thought microsoft had done enough to screw vista customers, with their slow and bloated OS. But theres more, now they can deprive them of IE10 when there seems to be no technical reasons.

I don't see the fuss, what does html5 really mean anyway, a bunch of stuff that was already in development was put under this umbrella term because it was easier to market. Microsoft being a company that want to make profits have taken this

Sorry to sound negative but I never understand why if someone goes to the bother of making something like this. Why they can't provide a checkbox to allow users on a desktop (without gyroscopes) to interact via mouse and see the effect.

I am sorry but I just don't agree. The bunsen burner has never been replaced because it design is simple and it does the intended job perfectly. In the same way a ruler, pair of compasses or scissors are not going to go away. Windows XP on t

Spot on, "I'm never going to use this!" can be dismissed straight away as student use and see the results in their programs. My own maths ability increased dramatically when I got interested in astronomy, likewise trying to write games in b

Brilliant interesting article about a very simple but clever idea. I am not sure if I would use this css background technique, but the lego example is brilliant. Some articles trigger lots of ideas in my mind, this was one of them.
