In practice, I charge my phone when I go to bed. So as long as the phone lasts for the day's usage, I'm all set. (I don't know how long Android phones' battery typically lasts.)

When I've needed to work with Java libraries from Clojure, I've continually felt that Clojure provides enough abstractions over Java's syntax/conventions to make it not an issue. Java libraries are so numerous and prevalent that I'm growing

If a competitor's phone was as good as the iPhone 4 in all other areas, I suspect they'd get a little bit of a pass too.

If you think your product has potential even with your misgivings about the site design, go ahead and launch. Release early and often, as they say. As long as your design isn't dead-awful, such that it makes users feel your product is untru

The part about comments? Right on. Don't let the abscess of humanity troll against everything they dislike on your own website. Anyone who thinks you must have comments to be legitimate is under a false sense of entitlement. Seriously. Ju

Quality would dictate how long, IMO. Also, for this type of roundup, personally I'd get more use out of an audio podcast rather than video. But regardless, I'd want it to cover stories well , whether that takes 10 minutes or 60.

The clojure analogy actually works in favor of them switching to C++. Clojure takes the good ideas of Lisp and bolts extra convenience (and modernization) on top, just like C++ adds extra convenience to straight C.

Cool. Couple thoughts: - Are prices one-way or round trip? It's not obvious to me. - I tried to type a zip code at first, before realizing that it would only work with the City name.

I'd hate to practice swimming in corn syrup, if only due to the risk of inhaling mouthfuls of corn syrup, which I imagine would be more difficult to get rid of than a mouthful of seawater.

Clojure feels like a true "next step" after Python, for me. Before Clojure, I casually observed Lisp and thought, "That's nice, but I'd lose the benefits I currently get from Python's standard library." But with Clojure, taking advantage of

It's as I feared: What was previously a nearly-compatible-with-HTTP, dead-simple protocol, looks to have become confusingly, unnecessarily complex. Like XMPP. It will catch on because it's all we've got , but we're going to shove yet anoth
