I don't know Wordpress too well. But does this mean that 23 people have upvoted this story, and no one has gone through the install process with a bogus title like "VH1 Rules"? If so, you're real troopers, folk of HN.

Seconded. Eat less rice, bread and pasta. When you do, eat brown rice, and whole grain pasta & bread.

I have heard this idea tossed around a lot. Is there any cite-able scientific evidence out there which supports it?

I feel like this is pretty clearly a joke, and should be taken in the spirit in which it was intended: for laughs.

This video gets reposted here about once every three to six months, and I upvote it every time. To be clear about how deeply I appreciate this video, I am a member of this "crappiest generation" . I'm 24. Hi-speed cable and mobile phone

I thought Zed gave up on this style of posting. Really, the novelty wore off years ago.

I was really shocked at how partisan and flagrantly accusatory this post was. Does Adobe really want this kind of mudslinging associated with their company name?

The huge ad on the left side of the blog overlaps the blog post itself, making it illegible to me on Chrome 4.0.

What really scares me is that I completely bought the possibility of this being real. EDIT: Out of curiosity, could someone explain why this was dead'd?

Believe it or not, I actually appreciate this, since if I ask for a Coke and I get a Pepsi, I can tell and my tastebuds are disappointed. So if they say, "Oh, we only do Pepsi," I can say, "Then, I'll have a water," or something.

It really drives me crazy when I'm discussing products with a salesperson and they consistently "correct" me every time I mention the rounded-up price. It goes like this: Sales: So it looks like the $299 point-and-shoot might match the fea

It feels so hilariously appropriate that you were hiring a sales person, and they did a spectacular job of, as they say, "selling themselves."

Nice post! The demo really sold me on the technique. Quick nitpicks: On step 4 of the instructions, you wrote "Hide the non-matching ones, while showing the non-matching ones"; you probably meant to say "matching" in the second clause. A

Dude. What in the history of Hacker News would make you possibly believe that a post starting with "It's a fucking conspiracy" in earnest would do anything except get brutally downvoted?

Wait, what? Is this just a blog post giving an "attaboy" to Google for their weakest April Fool's joke yet? Okay, guys. I was just as annoyed with the "Don't make posts about April Fool's" guy as everyone else, but... I think I have to b
