I’ve been using Colima to host docker containers and VSCode with devcontainers to do something similar. Being able to spin up a full stack environment on the fly for working is amazing. It may not be as fast as Zed, but it’s a well thought

But, you also have to be better than what’s freely available by enough to get someone to pay for it. Having a good product isn’t good enough, you have to be significantly better. Dev tooling is a notoriously difficult space to make money.

If your copies come out of the machine right-side up and they get stacked on top of each other, then you can just take the finished stack from the machine when finished. Otherwise, you’d have to reverse the stack, which in real life or in a

Would this also be able to detect something like a camera that saves videos to an SD card to be retrieved later? Something that doesn't use WiFi or a radio? That's the main limit I see, but I'm wasn't sure if it such a d

When looking at the eM Client home page (to see more information about who bought Postbox), I noticed something at the bottom of the page: > See how eM Client compares to other products on SourceForge.net Something about this doesn

I would like to think that if there were any interaction between theses putative deposits to the groundwater that we wouldn't have needed an ML model to find these deposits in the first place!

I think the point of this is that the P550 dev board is now starting to ship and be available “in the wild”. In which case, the press release might be a better link: https://www.sifive.com/press/hifive-premier-p550-deve

I don’t think the issue is how much of “science” is fake. It’s how you define “science”. There have always been lower quality work and journals that are inherently given lower weight in the scientific community. Many of these lower quality

I use Makefiles all the time for dependency management, not necessarily for compiling code. For example, in a data analysis workflow, I’ll use a make file to manage the processing from ETL, extracting out whatever data I need, and finally,

I appreciate the quickness in renaming a project (x.md wasn’t great), but you’re missing the main point that Make provides - building a project based upon changing input files (DAGs and all of that). Make files are great in that they are fl

As is mentioned in the thread, this is a far older "problem" for BSD than this 2011 thread. The oldest story I know about this "issue" was linked here (complete with a late 80s SNL joke): http://monster-island

I don't know about that. I think there are many different definitions of success here. WP Engine would want to make sure that it's customers are well taken care of and have a solid web hosting experience. That would be success to

I like previews and trailers before the movie... sometimes it's informative (new movie that I didn't know about). But really, for me, they act as a palate cleanser of sorts. It sets the stage that I'm about to watch a movie.

How likely is it really that you'd go to a theater to watch a movie if they didn't have previews? If you want to see a movie in theaters, that's where you're going to be. If you're taking that view, you're prob
