To some extent every protocol which does not transfer message and payload size on a fixed offset in header can be called "crazy" as being vulnerable to all the problems with live parsing, terminators and unpredictable memory requirements.

I was rather thinking about an over-cautious (or over-curious) cloud provider that would more or less accidentally make a persistent copy of TPB machine's RAM. This is obviously quite an unlikely scenario, but still possible.

Aren't the cloud providers capable of simply hibernating a VM on their machine to get VM's RAM contents and salvage all the config and keys/passwords/network topology info they want from this dump?

As I wrote before, Poland didn't exist at the time -- it was occupied by Russians trying hard to wipe or nationality for good, also by attenuating Polish science and culture. Thus many Poles have fled for freedom of not being oppressed for

Please note that we were mostly under Russian or German occupation during the last 200 years, so it is not our fault many bright units have been kicked or run abroad. Skłodowska was rejected by Russians, so blame them for intolerance.

Maria Skłodowska-Curie, to be exact. She moved to France and married there, but never rejected her Polish origins. In fact she supported Polish independence, founded a scientific institute in Warsaw and named one of the elements she discove

Well yeah, this is an exaggeration; things like brute force hash reversing can take kilobytes. Yet you must admit that such problems are in minority even in material science. Also note that some Linux distros in GUI mode can take like half

Yeah; internal SMTP to SMTP traffic gives no guarantees at all. The only way is to use S-MIME or PGP.

What is wrong? Mainly the fact that those have nothing to do with skeuomorphism, it is only pointless bloat. Those designs have nothing to do with real world metaphors, they just shout "I can use cool textures too!" And it is not new; the f

For those who don't like 3rd parties looking into mail and only have IMAP access to mail server, there is something called imapfilter. Basically, it acts as a headless e-mail client with Lua interface.

I know it is educational and it does not matter in presence of dissipation, but it would be nice to mention that Euler method is not only an approximation but also terribly inaccurate one. It won't produce any stable oscillations or orbits

Think of a java applet in a browser catching all your keyboard input for instance; the general idea is that secure system must guarantee that user input goes where intended and only there.

Note that the usually the OOP system heavily promotes short-lived memory allocations and the standard library is build around it.
