If you search 'solar tower' on youtube, you will see all kinds of videos of existing installations of things that are similar, albeit most are not as tall, nor are they flexible. But the basic concept appears to be the same. Quite

Given this, if successful, is creating storms at the top, won't it continually and repeatedly be hit by lightning? And given that it is some kind of fabric, cause havoc?

testing infrastructure: we have a bunch of teams that now need to run jenkins full suite tests, that comprise many servers, so there is an explosion of servers X branches that makes managing all of that very difficult.

When you the remove the driver, i think people will generally tend to act worse in the car, to the point that i can see a world where you _REALLY_ don't want to get in those dirty things. or .. alternatively the hailing company has to

Yeah this modularization will do nothing for your own jar's size. Basically, if you the developer weren't using OSGI before, and planning to switch to java modules, then likely the only effects you will see are negative ones. This

Has Jim Holt or World Science Festival commented officially after the fact? I would have thought this would be a priority by both parties. I don't see anything, but perhaps i'm just missing it.

Curious as to why these are better than buses? Are they that much more energy efficient or something to account for the high cost of installation?

I'm guessing stores realize theft and even unintentional mis scanning due to 'amateurs', will happen, and have decided that the cost savings of using self scanning is still worth it.

Does 'anyone' care about that? I don't. I suppose you could find someone. Maybe raspberry people. But for large swathes of devs, not a thing.

When does Soma sue this guy? This seems like a risky article to me. Whether or not they have a case, doesn't matter. They can make life miserable.

My main concern is that whatever the system, 'normal' people can just ignore all of it, and continue on as usual. There are use cases for it, specifically the JDK itself, but i feel like the grand majority of developers have no ne
