I believe you've confused spelling and grammar. In the future, when you're being condescending towards non-native English speakers - be sure to note the differences between spelling and grammar.

Recursion in this case - generally in ruby as well - is not a great idea. Also, you have quite high memory requirements: O(n^2) O(n) is quite easy in this problem.

For my solution, after Jemfinch posted about this topic on G+ - I had to remember what Pascal's Triangle essentially was (it's been awhile since I've reviewed the binomial theorem, etc). No big deal. Once one understands the actual problem
