I'm at the 25th percentile (in Canada). In my case I'm not in a tech heavy area so can't job hop to get the usual raises. I imagine in the states the numbers probably vary more too.

What would I do with that though? As a resident of a country that's affected, if I hit a profile that happens to have fraud protection, I go to jail. Now, if I was in a country not so friendly to the US I might have a shot.

If I understand this right, aren't they putting the motor around the prop? While it cuts down on noise, doesn't it increase, or at least give it a distinct, magnetic signature?

You're right, but the key point (at least for me) is the cross platform. We recently had a client send us their environment setup. Everything ran on AIX except for our stuff. That means they had to specially buy windows server licences
