It depends on the SoC used. Some will have 1 or 2 SATA controllers on board. This board is based on the Exynos 4412 which I don't think has SATA controllers on board (can't find a full datasheet). This means adding them externally, not b

Actually I agree with this, perhaps we're just debating cause and effect. Developers in my experience do hate putting together html email due to the wonky client constraints and as a result often say to marketing "its a mess, I don't want

Not all HTML emails are image heavy monstrosities. There is a lot you can do with HTML/CSS that makes the message easier to consume and more impactual without using a single image. I feel like HTML email design lags about 5-10 years behind

My point was that none of the GCs completely avoid full on stop everything, sweep and compact all the things GC cycles. They will all do this if they are in a position where they think the heap will be exhausted (specifically when a concur

If the CMS collector can't 'keep up', meaning it doesn't think it can avoid running out of heap space based on its duty cycle and the current memory state, it will do a full on complete, stop the world GC. Based on the article I'm guessing

It can partially solve the inrush current issue. There are still timing issues, if you slam a drive in you can shorten the timing of pin contact so much that its not effective. You also gain a real benefit in that one drive failing by som

Temperature can be just as important as current draw. The amount of current those MOSFETs can handle will reduce fairly rapidly as ambient temperature increases and green drives tend to run much cooler than high speed 7200rpm drives.

Specs like "6A MOSFET" don't exist in isolation. The current rating of that MOSFET is due to the on resistance(Ron), the resistance between source and drain. As current flows through the FET this resistance causes power to be dissipated a

In most sound card designs I've seen there is a 'boost' switch on the output. In other words there is a toggle that enables a ~10dB boost on the output amplifier (or sometimes the DAC). The volume control is actually digital but when you
