I've spent enough time in my life fighting with version mis-matches of slf4j. Hard defining your dependency versions just pushes the problem upstream.

I can also vouch for the Jarvis, I'm tall and often use it at or near max height without issues. I'm not sure how common this is but one of the best features is that it is smart enough to smoothly come to a stop rather than just j

I agree, but I'm curious what other build systems have a lock file? Ruby does through bundler, who else does this right? I can't think of any.

Kind of. The core functionality is the same but the plugins generally lag behind the functionality of the focused IDEs by around one major release. Additionally there are some general tweaks to the UI such that the overall experience is mor

I'm not really sure how this pertains to On/Fairchild. On produces a few MCUs but as far as I know it's not a significant part of their business. My point was that there are massively more applications that require supporting

It really baffles me that most dependency management systems get this wrong. You'd think it would be consideration #1.

Never profiled it but I would guess that is largely due to the npm's main problem: It doesn't locked dependency versions. As a result it probably builds the dependency graph a lot more than it should.

There are a lot of things missing from Influx's query language. The most glaring issue is that you can't do 'multi step math' e.g. you can't do something like 'average series A and series B into 5min buckets th
