For what it's worth, I have a fully specced out out 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro with 64gb of RAM and the 5600m upgrade, and I can frankly say that these rumored MacBooks are actually exciting compared to what I have. What I feel strongly

I'd suggest adding some kind of explanation as to how many records each of your cloud offerings can support (1gb = N records, and so forth)

What is the replacement then? Electric stovetops just aren't a good for some types of cooking at all.

Maybe my opinion is atypical compared to a lot of the comments here, but I'm of the belief that if you treat your team members not just fairly but well, invest in them, genuinely care about them, and trust/empower them, then the o

Definitely impressive, but I just feel deeply disappointed that to get access to this great new promised performance, it comes at the expense of privacy and security with Big Sur. Still, looking forward to real sustained benchmarks. I'

This is pretty crazy to see, even if the full story isn't clear yet. A base level MacBook Air is taking the crown of the best MacBook Pro. Wow. SVP Johny Srouji and all of the Apple hardware + silicon team have been smashing it for the

I really appreciate how Backblaze is always so consistent in these reports. Quality and disciplined reporting like this is appreciated, and I always find them very interesting. Side note, does Backblaze not run any enterprise or datacenter

I think it goes without saying that cultivating and maintaining a strong culture of positive communication and discussion is no easy task, particularly within the context of 2020 and the modern day internet. The HN moderation team (Dang&#x2

Yes, I'd say so. The ARM based iteration that Apple will ship will be good, potentially great even, but it doesn't change the fact that it will be the first iteration. Apple will be supporting Intel for at least a couple of yeas,

As expected. They're not going to do a radical form factor redesign and update for Intel based chips, they're saving the all new iMac design for the ARM transition for the extra wow factor. Not sure if the value proposition is the

I've always wondered why more people don't go for projectors. It's not (or less) prone to bloatware, tracking scripts, and unsavory things of the sort. Plus, you can get bigger screensizes. Is there something I'm missing

I'm pleasantly surprised that Apple decided to implement a physical escape key, the inverted "T" arrangement along with redoing the keyboard. While I don't know if we should be applauding Apple so heavily, it's good

I believe in voting with my dollars. I will be waiting for a smaller size phone that doesn't compromise on hardware and features, and if Apple doesn't make it within a year or so, then I'll start to look at alternatives. Peop
