AFAIK, this PA-220 has nothing to do with 10G and cannot even do line speed routing at 1Gbps. It's an advanced firewall, not a high speed router.

Yeah, those benchmarks seems to be highly biased over non-multicore applications. The geekbench showed pretty much the same, M1 beats 3900X on single core performance, but only have 0.5 on overall multi-core score. https://browse

Same here, near-native performance is quite critical for certain use cases, including kernel compiling. If you ever tried to compile from source over NFS, that's almost 10~30 times slower than compile from a native/local filesyste

When I saw the $5/mo price, I know it's targeting lowendvps customers from Digital Ocean. But if the management UI of LightSail is still the EC2 one, I will give up. Their UI feels laggy and less intuitive.

This question came to my mind when I saw this post. The possibility might be the management cost. Synchronize between different providers can go wrong and might hard to debug when end users get different replies.

I use about 2 to 3 TB every month, and I have a 200Mbps plan for 1 year. The data cap is not part of the plan when I sign it, is it legal to set a cap without get acknowledgement from it's customer?

The gitlab import is really SLOW and there is no clear indication of the progress. Try to import https://github.com/torvalds/linux.git , it takes forever.
