I recently rewrote a server that I had in Kotlin and really happy with the results. With this I am pleasantly surprised! I already liked the syntax, and now it gives me another reason to try it out. I am not sure though how would it compare

SQLite usage makes me wonder how will it behave over time with millions of commits. Also makes me wonder how will it handle distribution.

It's good to see so many SCM systems showing up. But it makes me wonder how many of them can actually work on GBs of codebase with over 1000 of programmers checking in on daily basis. I my experience most of SCMs are fine for small to

I think every CS graduate does that as part of Compiler Construction course so rather than questioning people's degree I would say doing these advanced features is not a trivial task.

Makes me wonder if its trivial why didnt't people just do it last few decades then? Even with AOT you will be shipping some kind of runtime if you want stuff like Hot reload etc.

Rust and Go has not been written for same purpose and they target different audiences. Rust is targeting more towards safe systems programming while Go is mostly being used for network and service stuff. Both can do more obviously but let&#

Who uses RavenDB in production? How does it scale over a cluster? I have seen this project pop-up multiple times but I feel something less known like ArangoDB or OrientDB is more used/mature than RavenDB. Is it so? I won't even co

Well I hope NodeJS ultimately settles on such a syntax to preempt and resume automatically. I love Golang in this regard since it abstracts out everything using channels, and go-routines (not to compare multiple thread support).
