There is one caveat, though: it is not open source as advertised. > In the event of a conflict, these provisions shall take precedence over those in the Apache License: > Restriction on Resale: The multi-node support, Docker Compose f

What prevents you from doing that? Is an activated eSIM linked to the device's MAC address, making it impossible to use with a different device? If that is the case, what would happen if we transferred the MAC address along with the eS

I always found it interesting that SQLite is embedded in almost all popular operating systems and browsers. It has like 90% market share in these spaces, being included in Android, macOS, Windows, Chromium, Firefox, etc. [0] It's very

Open software licenses are generally non-revokable (unless you violate them). They can only change the license of future versions. I'm afraid that they can always do that with or without a CLA. Apache is quite a permissive license.

Can someone explain the use case for this project? Is it intended for device vendors creating phones and tablets or for telecom companies building their own infrastructures?

Moreover, it doesn't seem like static linking to me. A similar example would be using a GPLv3 licensed JavaScript library in a website. What it implies to other HTML/JS/CSS code is controversial [0]. The FSF actually believed

That sounds like a security nightmare. A single accidental exploit in one agency could easily spread to others reusing the same code. Now, imagine if that exploit was instead intentionally planted by a foreign spy, targeting common use case

Good to know that! Are you meaning that these modifications cause the generated MHTML files to become non-standards-compliant? I wouldn't consider them proprietary though. At least the primary software used to open these files, Chromiu

That's not correct. MHTML has been defined as internet standard since 1999. MHTML has been an internet standard since 1999, with support dating back to IE 5.0. https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html/rfc2557

It seems that Firefox doesn't support saving a page as MHTML yet. Maybe that's the reason. https://connect.mozilla.org/t5/ideas/add-support-of-mhtml-fo...

An alternative approach would be saving all outbound requests as a HAR file using your browser's DevTools. This captures fetched API responses as well. HAR is a JSON-based format, making it straightforward to inspect. Unfortunately, th

Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, etc.) already have great MHTML support. Just right click on a page > "Save as...", and select "Webpage, Single File" in the dialog.

You can download the APK/IPA file from TikTok’s website, I suppose. They’re just removing the app from the respective app store. The domain and its underlying IP address aren’t blocked.

Apache Pinot is written in Java, which is a garbage-collected language and also a rare choice for mainstream databases. Any idea if that would affect its performance? The last time I checked there are several databases written in Go, which

That won't be possible without a lot of work. You'll need to tweak the TypeScript compiler to make the parser comprehend exported variables. For example, import { contacts } from "db" const jane = contacts.one(c =&
