You could also change your user agent to that of a mobile device and pay $5. Dishonesty is always an (unethical) option. The technical complexity of getting a seamless Wifi connection 30,000 feet above ground warrants its $12.00 in my opini

Great point, but at the time I didn't feel like running to the store to buy one at 6:00 PM on New Year's Eve. I very well might still do exactly what you are saying!

Thanks! Total cost of materials was ~$50 or so excluding the Arduino which I already had. With most projects like this one I try switching to a barebones ATMEGA328 (the microcontroller at the heart of the Arduino) if I can to save money, bu

Only if they are totally dead. If you just power your phone off normally, it will stay turned off until you hold the power button.
