One of the problems I have with this is that I wonder if this doesn't majorly impact blue/green upgrades and (actual cluster, not schema) migrations.

Updates and replication becomes a whole lot trickier when you start using these functionalities in postgres. Sure it's possible, but I prefer sticking to more widespread use of postgres.

Take a look at vector, I personally prefer it over fluentd and don't think you'll need a custom monitoring agent with it.

How's the peripherals support on Surface Linux? I've been wanting to switch to Linux on my Pro X SQ2 for a while due to the WSL2 support on it being terrible (might be fixed now [1]) but always thought that most stuff such as LTE,

It supports software outside of the store fine, even has x64 emulation. There's no real noticeable difference in daily use. The only real problems that are left is drivers (old devices that require an x86 driver) and WSL2 (which has a

Hopefully this will incentivize Microsoft to fix the current WSL virtualization on ARM chips. Something's that's been broken for years now: https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/11274 (also see th

The origins of quantum computing give it a clear use: simulation of many-body systems. Number factorization and anything else in BQP is also an use for them.

No, those are not billed to the person who caused the injury. The personal injury part is meant to compensate for personal injury, such as "compensation" for becoming unable to work, or live the same way as before.

Healthcare is socialized in Europe and car insurance is still similarly priced (750 - 1500 per year, average in NL is 950 per car for only liability) mostly due to liability costs. Required insurance covers € 7.5 million for personal injury
