Yes, as soon as the narrative went against HNs own point the discussion stopped.

Chromebooks have 6.5 years of updates. How is that short lived ?

Let me break into your house and steal your stuff. "You gonna return that too?" - NO finders keepers.

Since when has the UK become the arbiter and police of the World's Art. Is it also rescuing currently "at danger" heirlooms ? Who are they to decide that they get to show it? For e.g. the Kohinoor diamond from India. Blatant

Let me go to your house, steal your stuff and keep it forever and call it crosspollination.

You're probably at Argenta, Fox Plaza, NEMA or 100 Van Ness. It's a fine place very central to most cool spots. Keep your wits about you and it shouldn't be a problem. I find 4th to 8th St to be the worst of it.

Been biking every day with mostly empty roads. Loving it. Especially GG park and Crissy Field.

Using array based data structures also get you more cache hits. For smaller data sets, this may well be faster than a fancy algorithm.

There is no end to this debate. The buck stops at the law. As of today this is fair and objective. Without this we have no framework to judge right or wrong. You can handwave around this but this is the best jurisprudence has come up with o

How are you in the "right" here ? You're stealing a product and acting as if it's cool.

This is not true at all. Many people go to stellar PhD programs from not so famous state schools.

And guess what Windows does suffer from shitty apps giving you blue screens. Battery isn't as much of a concern on PC but it's absolutely critical on mobile.

You can modify AOSP how you like. If you want hacker friendly behavior, be ready to hack.

What a stupid argument. Again buy a phone from a different company. Flash your own bits. "Hacker" needs can't dilute a consumer product.

Also, most users want their devices to work not have to constantly fiddle and make decisions. You can put AOSP and even a different app store and do whatever you want.
