I always felt the same way doing internet marketing stuff. I had fun and was making money, but I didn't consider my company a "startup" because I wasn't really creating any new technology. I think that is kind of the difference...

That is not a just correlation. Someone who is creative enough to come up with something like this, probably has a creative app as well. It is nearly impossible to put out a product without any minor mistakes.

I think that this is a good idea, I've seen people in the internet marketing space sell themes and templates like this. What you should do is customize the template for different niches, i.e. one for lawyers, one for doctors, one for dentis

I have not seen Wikipedia "moving in this directon." I had some editors delete a 5 year old page with multiple published sources and 10+ inbound wikipedia links on it. I am getting it reviewed now. There are some bad apple editors on Wikipe

It's pretty ridiculous that people will go this far out of their way to delete an article that is obviously not spam or anything like that. Seriously, I got pretty emotional having to defend my father's notability to a stranger on the inter

I completely agree! I updated something on my father's wikipedia page (he founded a city and was a mayor), and even though the article was 5 years old, the change brought the article under review and it was cited for deletion due to notabil

I find CRMs are better once you have a client. What you are talking about building seems closer to lead management software. While CRM are not themselves communication software, you can easily integrate communication software like skype or

This has always been one of my favorite uses of QR codes, a grocery store in the subway. Taking wasted space and wasted time, and putting them to productive use is amazing. http://natmobi.com/innovative-qr-code-grocery/

yeah, I work with text messaging, i.e. "text XXXX to #####" and while I love seeing it places, when I see it on the train I say wtf? But I guess people can draft the message and send it when they go above ground? I wonder if that is the sam

I've thought about the buffer for texting and the problem is that you can't send a message from your real number, it would have to be from a separate number, thereby kind of defeating the purpose...

How did that work out? I read about this wallstreet guy who kept a meticulous spreadsheet of all the women he met on dates, and she got him to send it to her, then she leaked it all over the net... http://deadspin.com/5902760/finance-guy-k

I thought this was pretty standard so here are some other tips for anyone starting a new site or looking to increase their SEO. Sitemaps and metatags are the main things you need on every site+page. I suggest you then write a 600-1000 word
