For the record, one thing I like about Angular... I think the library tries to support existing/future technologies rather than define its own way of doing things. For example, the devs are planning that components can be 'exporte

Looks like a neat game, but I'm skeptical how it would work in reality. For example, it looks like the 4th dimension (time) gets frozen (for the observer) when you want to traverse it. That means, the second you 'travel in time,&#

It's a good point. When I started doing JS full-time, I wanted to squeeze out ever ms, writing for loops over using $.each or _.each, for example. But in the end, it just adds more lines of code and makes code harder to read. Also, the

Actually using var makes the function more reusable. For one, having the reference allows you to pass it along to other functions. Further, declaring a function without var is not the same as throwing it into global scope, it can still only

That does not make any sense. I don't expect Angular, for example, to tell me when I have a syntax error. Also, things are rarely so clean in browser-land, anyway. Just because you have a framework doesn't mean there's not an

Correction: Backbone doesn't try to be the kitchen sink like Angular. Its source code is about 500 lines, and its docs say as much: "Two way data-binding" is avoided. While it certainly makes for a nifty demo, and works for t
