Yeah I would think that downstream users would just expect a function that only takes in the params that they specify - leave it up to the API user to just make a closure on the spot.

I'm questioning this advantage: > Improved type safety: Currying can help improve type safety by ensuring that each curried function takes exactly one argument of the correct type. This can help catch errors at compile time and make

Might be worth exploring linear ASTs with relative pointers which size could be truncated along with N-byte alignments

Yeah but Cloudflare integrates really nicely with Rust compared to other languages that compile to WASM, e.g. their service bindings

Well it avoids client side state and improves load times. I personally think the main benefit of htmx is fetching components individually from the server and so JS on Edge makes sense.

They also support Rust directly with WASM (I believe no JS loader, not too sure though). Would be interesting to see Rust on edge with htmx.

Absolutely incredible. I was working on something like this a few weeks ago but never got round to finishing. A huge source of inspiration: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpzowDDJj24

Damn. We only have to pay fees to the EU after brexit (and I assume internationally too. edit: I've never transferred internationally).

I had to read this twice - is it really not like in the UK? Is this the first US implementation of "Faster Payments"? Sure people in the UK sometimes use PayPal, Revolut, but most of the time its always just a friend gives (and yo

No universities in the UK look at these things, the only thing they look at is if you've been part of programs that look at socioeconomic factors (e.g. if you're the first in your family to go to university, parents salary, you li

I think this will be the eventual goal with a simple syntax.

Oops I worded it badly! I meant take some theory from Make and modify it to be more ergonomic before adding it into Piper. A la rethinking it all with new knowledge I gain.

Thank you! Re. a), b); I will probably add a "spread operator" syntax or something for collections. Maybe different symbols for the different types. Once I start prototyping I'll choose whatever is the least burden on the use

Great resources, thank you! I think I came across some of these ideas before and it might have been as simple as me resenting the syntax. I'll touch up on my `make` knowledge and try to make Piper more ergonomic!

Very good point! For my next amendment(s) to the idea, I will be attempting to think of a simple way to do M-N. It should naturally also cover 1-1, 1-N, and N-1.
