I thought a similar thing too. "Look, we tried to create an EV and no one bought it. So we need to retain that carve-out in the regulations that mean we do not have to electrify our entire product line or we will go out of business ent

Probably long term each dev gets their own GPU and runs a model locally I expect. Seems like a more sustainable approach, even if a local model is not absolute SOTA.

I can plug in the same USB-C dock I use for my Mac and everything just works on the android phone. You even see the phone screen mirrored on the monitor, complete with mouse cursor etc. The sad thing is it is just literal copy of the phone

Well again that is just a "vibes" explanation with nothing concrete. I feel like with LLMs, it's like a situation where you are close to some feature or project and have a pretty good idea in your head already of how you'

How is this shelving any better than what you can buy from say IKEA? I've got wooden IKEA shelves in my shed and they take serious abuse of big heavy tools, lawn mowers, car batteries, paint cans etc being non-carefully put/clatte

FWIW I have found cyclists to often ruin the experience if you are walking or running through said greenery. They go fast down the lanes, are often shouting and roaring at walkers to "stand back" or "get out of the way"

Is this impact above and beyond just the same amount of physical exercise? E.g. jogging? I think at this stage it is well understood that physical exercise has all these positives, so it would be interesting to know if anyone knows if bicyc

From what I've heard rumor-wise, everyone has abandoned the web UI editors and are now using (or being told very loudly by management to use) Antigravity exclusively for everything.

Yet there is another post a few rows down where people are losing their shit that Chrome has a local LLM model that uses a couple of GB of space for local-inference. Damned if they do, damned if they don't.
