Yep or consider just blocking AS numbers of places people typically aren’t purchasing things from such as cheap VPS companies. The user agents, can you post those?

I used to work at the Free Software Foundation which is unionized. Glitch (prior to being bought by Fastly) was also unionized, but the unionization stopped after Fastly.

I run a music community that’s been around for 16 years and many users are asking me what they can do to avoid AI in their lives and I’m going to start building tools to help. Many of the people pushing for a lot of AI stuff are the same pe

I’m a free software developer and have been for over 25 years. I’ve worked at many of the usual places too and I enjoy and appreciate the different licenses used for software. I’m also a filmmaker and married to a visual artist. I don’t tou

Tailwind also feels way too verbose to be useful. Maybe it’s good like Bootstrap for making every site look the same.

Is it? $40 a month gets you a pretty beefy dedicated server. EDIT: (I can't reply for a bit) Quick glance at https://www.hetzner.com/sb/ seems to suggest 64GB RAM and a full Intel i7.

There's no reason we can't still build things like this if we want to. I'm looking at my next project now and I think I'm going to build it like this again because if it has any hope of lasting a decade or more, it needs

The amount of JavaScript required to submit a form should be zero. Browsers can already do basic validation of form fields. Worse still are sites that require JavaScript to read them.

Hopefully some people will read it and not use it but I don’t think that’s enough. Anyone using it for anything is the problem.

Unfortunately projects not on GitHub seem to lack visibility. Self hosting GitLab is the best option if you don't need visibility.
