Been there a few weeks, approx 600 followers. What’s your handle?

Yes if they’re managed but not out of the box.

I think what you want is an iPad but I do wonder if the USB-C iPhone 15 Pro will be able to support more of what you mentioned.

Nova is okay but Coda has a lot more to it IIRC.

Their website needs some work. Not using external fonts would be a start.

They didn’t mention if it works on the 17 inch CRT Cinema Display which I just picked up.

Cheaper versions of iPhones are usually just previous top-tier phones with a bit more life added to them so I don’t see them as lower tier.

You were telling us how your phone was cheaper than an iPhone. It doesn't appear to be the case.

My last two iPhones have been the SE model and I know a number of friends who have one. The previous smaller iPhone SE (2016) was a lovely phone and still getting updates.

https://www.techradar.com/reviews/fairphone-3-review#section... $500 in 2019 is $597 now. 450 Euro in 2019 is 533 Euro now. That's enough to buy an iPhone 13 and skip the SE model entirely.

iPhone SE 2022 is $429 and will likely get updates for a similar amount of time as the OP mentioned. Not every iPhone is over $800.

How good is Linux support on Framework machines? Is all the hardware supported? How about something like OpenBSD?

Ah, interesting. $5000 isn’t a lot for professional software developers but could be fine for hobby projects I guess. $1300 for the professional version is a steep price jump from $0

The Wikipedia article suggests it's still around and that it's being focused more towards rapid development. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Visual_Basic_(.NET)

There's still Visual Basic .NET, is it much different productivity wise? I assume the language has changed enough from classic VB.

I was given a copy on DVD when visiting Fog Creek around this time. I vaguely recall it was for sale on Google Video when that was a thing.

Day 1 Switch owner and very early Deck owner. I don’t play with the deck enough because a lot of stuff is fiddly once you get away from the Steam store. I’ve seen lots of talk about emulators and things but it’s not terribly easy to set up.
