Sadly the number of people on IRC took a huge hit the last few years especially channels previously on Freenode.

This is something I could see a group like Software in the Public Interest doing. They’re not going anywhere or changing hands for the next foreseeable version of your GUI Mac App

This already exists. Mozilla is on the free tier. I would like to see a non-profit organization step up to do this for other projects.

Users shouldn’t need to control-click/right click though. That’s not something I can think that exists anywhere else in macOS. Putting this in system settings makes sense.

Wait your website is morganstanley.it.com?

Heh, no worries. I thought "Mac Rectangle" was going to be something completely unknown to me, despite using RectangleApp daily.

"Mac Rectangle" is a strange way of saying this is inspired by https://rectangleapp.com

See it in action here: https://cheermail.reflex.run/uuid=302ed0f9-8439-42fc-9a54-7a... I’m unclear how this does anything to help me remember a birthday.

Great to see this! Back in the late 90s I worked on a system that generated a static website from an existing QB application. The app itself was a flat file database with a few thousand entries and was very fast. The web version was equally

OmniWeb was I believe the only web browser released for the NeXT/Apple merger Rhapsody project.

The editor part of the original browser is also graphical so you can select text and make links, headings, lists without the need to write HTML IIRC.

You’ve probably used a machine with Lynx or GNU Emacs installed.

Also most people could telnet to a host that already had the line mode browser installed. I believe that’s how a lot of non-NeXT users at CERN would be using it.

Archive Team isn’t Internet Archive. They need somewhere to download things before pushing them to archive.org

Who did you contact?

At the very least they could refund your money for the computer.

Is there a phone I can pick up to try Ubuntu Touch, Graphene, the Librem OS (PureOS?) and CalyxOS? I’d like to see the state of these things for myself.

I’m not saying it’s a lie but that chart is buried on their website. Generally I find the Purism website lacking. How much data does the unlimited AweSIM provide? Some pages say 20gb, some say 22gb, some say 22gb+. I’ve only ever ordered on

Most of my personal web usage is mobile at this point. As is a large part of my job. Email on mobile isn’t amazing but if you’re okay top-posting it can be bearable.

I check the Purism Reddit from time to time and see people still waiting on devices and with horrible delivery times. I know a lot of free software purists. I don’t know anyone who actually has a Librem 5.

I don’t believe you offer 24/7 support but that’s how you write it. Also $ before the amount not after: $9.99 not 9.99$ Hope this helps. I’d also get rid of the fading effect on the website.

I think it tells you in the liner notes that you should use the shuffle button. My copy in the UK at the time didn’t have the individual tracks. Just one track.

Sometimes CDs would have a long piece of silence at the end of the last song and then another song on the same track. Other CDs really experimented with the shuffle feature. They Might Be Giants’ Apollo 18 had a bunch of very short tracks t

I read a lot on public transport. I’ve started using my Kindle again as it’s bigger than my phone and much nicer to read on.
