   Is Libby available elsewhere?

Elsewhere here and Reddit it seems the trick is to use the Kindle app plus Calibre. Good luck with it.

The Scribe should be so much better but all the issues you mentioned put me off buying one.

Kindle does this too via Libby.

Not suggesting it as a good option but does the Kindle app on Windows and macOS not work with these devices?

Yeah I used to love the era of boxed Linux distros with manuals in bookstores and computer stores.

https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=43046053 seems to suggest otherwise. I vaguely remember this happening but I’d need to check.

No there was a pretty small but interesting list of people in the source code. https://www.jwz.org/doc/about-jwz.html

Thanks for being a packager for Fedora. I appreciate your work. About to start playing with Fedora again on my Steam Deck.

I love Debian but the version of xscreensaver was old and if there were security issues unpatched and getting the blame sent to jwz, that’s not right.

Given that StarWriter was initially for the 8-bit Z80 based Amstrad CPC in 1985, I’d wager very little.

It has been available on a bunch of non-Apple platforms pretty much since they launched Apple TV+ and Apple has had Android apps for Apple Music for some time too.

True. MiSTER doesn’t quite have the usability of the Analogue systems. I use the MiSTER more for computers than consoles.

What OS are you running on that B&W? I have Mac OS X Server 1.23 on mine, basically Rhapsody and basically OPENSTEP.

I’m honestly not sure. I think when I picked up the MiSTER it was still early enough that SNES stuff was still being heavily worked on.

Isn’t Hugo distributed as a static binary? I assume that binary doesn’t ask you to upgrade.

Have a MiSTER but for Super Nintendo games I picked up the Analogue SuperNT.

Luckily most home computers of the era plus the Sega Master System and Genesis/Mega Drive used the same joystick port and wiring so many better controllers have been made and some are still being made.
