It does not include pro rata rights. The convertible security is a version 1 though, so it's possible we'll iterate on it for future batches.

Likely we would still ask the team if they're interested in doing Fellowship -- it would definitely be better if they indicated it upfront though; there's no cost to applying to both.

It's a different block list -- they wrote their own, this one is based on open-source Easylist / Easyprivacy. I'm honestly not sure which blocklist is better between mine and Adblock Fast's. If you have feedback, would l

It's free / open-source is the main thing. No 'acceptable ads' either. Crystal costs $1, and they're paid money by Adblock Plus to pass some ads through.

Hey, project creator here -- been working on this with some friends as a side project. It's a free, open-source adblocker, and it's based on EasyList / EasyPrivacy. It doesn't have 'acceptable ads.' Hoping to a

I would also just add that you should still feel welcome to apply to YC's normal program if you're still in the idea or prototype stage. Like kevin said elsewhere in the thread, it's about finding the amazing founders in the

We did read every single submission. That doesn't mean we watched every demo / intro video (even for some invited to interviews), but we read everything. I hope you'll still consider applying again in the future.

I'd say you should answer that question honestly there, but explain the situation in the video you make. We're pretty understanding, and don't want to discourage people from giving their ideas a real try.

Please only submit one application! Figure out whether you'd rather work on your solo project or with the co-founder, and then choose whichever idea you think is more promising.

You could put it in your video -- that's how Parker Conrad from Zenefits did it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-S83fysRwn4&feature=youtu.be

The application form was getting hit pretty hard -- it's temporarily offline while the Submittable team migrates it to its own server. Should just be a few minutes -- will update when it's back up! Edit: The application servers ar

1) Definitely not -- they're separate programs 2) It's still going to be pretty competitive, but it's primarily for earlier stage teams (idea and prototype). YC is for companies of all stages (idea to fast growth).

It would, but not until you're ready to work on it full-time. We're not sure yet whether we'll offer YCF again (will depend how it goes), but if we do in the future it could be a good fit.

Unfortunately we don't have the bandwidth to get involved with visas before or during the program :( If you can't do it from the Bay Area though, you can still apply to do it remotely--we want to try working with remote teams!
