Atlassian is not known for great product experiences so I don't think it is at all unjustified to fear that a product people genuinely seem to love to use will turn into an uninspired mess. (disclaimer: I don't use Trello but I di

So long as you get a MacBook that runs Sierra you'll be able to run Xcode for some time. Regarding dev devices I'd personally recommend getting the 6S at least so you can use all the latest APIs (specifically 3D Touch being the on

I stand corrected. Cost is not what I was referencing.. the CAL model was my problem. No software should require a data sheet to understand the licensing.

I assume it shares the same insane licensing model. I genuinely do not understand how people put up with that (outside of enterprises that normally overpay for everything).

Pretty basic here.. we are a payments processor so we check volume, average ticket $, credit score and things of that nature to determine the quality and lifetime of a new merchant account.

I find it odd you mention freedom but run Windows. Bit of a conflict there, no?

Last I tried was 1.0. I love everything about using Influx but it would die and never restart and every time it would some crash on semacquire. I'll have to try it again since I need to check out this Grafana update anyway.

What kind of volume are you sending into Influx? It crashed on me probably 5 times a day with only 100 requests per second.

Or you could just use 'aliveness-test' via the HTTP API: http://hg.rabbitmq.com/rabbitmq-management/raw-file/rabbitmq... (scroll to the bottom)

Of course it does. Every day I still deal with services that speak on a schedule with SFTP and flat files.. existing infrastructure is hard to eradicate.

I'm aware of the (many) standards. UPC codes are not unique and that is more what I was getting at.. it's all basically just made up with seemingly no governing body.

I am genuinely surprised to hear this. I largely thought barcodes were nonsense because in the US there isn't really any sort of standard that I've seen (I work for a POS company in the US that has to support a lot of barcodes)
