It was a significant improvement. Hardware was much better all around. The biggest thing for me was that even as a recent device I still see a noticeable screen lag as I scroll on it. Of course the rest of the problems are OS-related (even

Not yet. I believe the most recent (tablet or phone) was the Nexus 2. I did hear nice things about the One however. EDIT: I was referring to the Nexus tablet that came out not long ago (though we do have a Nexus 7 at the company also)

Bought this and about a week later ended back with Mail.app. Airmail has some nice features, a really slick UI, etc but it bugged out with my Gmail account enough for me to not want to tolerate it.

This is most of the case for me but unfortunately our company isn't going to rewrite internal systems just for me ;-)

Nice. Not all that compelling because the bigger problems for Linux as a daily driver aren't covered (for me anyway) but highlights some features I did not previously know where fairly ubiquitous across window managers.

Exactly my thoughts. I've paid previously but have since moved to Treehouse for that reason.

Part of the problem for me has always been the absurd pricing schemes. When I buy a Macbook I'm paying for the labor, yes, but also the resources used in its construction. For software, especially in the enterprise, it was usually writ

Isn't it a lot more simple in most cases? For example on the web e.loaded / e.total... just how much was done vs how much is total to get a percentage completed for an upload.

Out of curiosity what made you leave Apple (or consider it)? This is coming from a former die-hard MS guy turned Apple fan boy. It's like Apple took what I love (*nix) and just made the best desktop experience for it. Yeah, I hate the

Other than looking around for others (country TLDs like .io) which might fit your market or product I would personally go with the .net. Depending upon your market I would imagine you'd see a lot of traffic intended for your site to go
