Hi Daniel, thanks for your feedback, it's a big help! I hadn't realised until I read your comment that the "logged in" features of the site aren't talked up on the front page. When logged in you can see your personal top films based on your

While certainly candid, I think that these examples fall down flat as they don't stimulate discussion. I think if you want to be memorable, just write a short section called "Ask Me About" at the end of your (1 sided!) resume. For example,

this reminds me of Super Discount 2 released by Etienne De Crecy in 2004. He named each track after a p2p client, thereby search-obscuring the titles. 1. Poisoned 2. Fast Track 3. Grokster 4. Morpheus 5. Bit Torrent 6. Audio Galaxy 7. G2 8.

Good name! We could never come up with a descriptive title for this at http://www.greatmovieexperiment.com/ The name seems so obvious now. Our goal was to create a list of the top films by showing all the pairings of films randomly. I pre

At FOWA Edinburgh, Stefan Magdalinski mentioned that MOO had moved their hosting to the US (from the UK) in order to improve google rankings. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it.

At a guess this would be largely explained by usage of facebook "networks" not mapping to population. For example, 1. choosing a nearby big city as your network when you live rurally or 2. setting your network as where you go to school.

Very useful. Could you add a field for input of HN threads pertaining to each startup?

From the title/domain, I thought that the upg warning was from google. Is there a solution to this problem? Would adding cases such as code.google.com be worthwhile?

"Hacker" may very well be (helpfully) keeping the size of HN down. The last time I sent someone a link to an HN discussion they took one look at the url and phoned to tell me that my email had a virus.

It's running from the server in the attic just now so it won't be as snappy as possible! Our intention would be to put the images on a CDN at some point. In the meantime, would a loading spinner on the graphics avoid confusion with the titl
