    Imagine feeling like you're in a video game and can't step out of the unreality of existence. Everything that felt full feels distant, like you're watching someone else. I hated every moment of it, I'm very glad it'

    The way I do it is with a technique from Buddhist meditation. I watch the urge to switch to something, and intercept it by making note of it.
