Feature Extraction and Image Processing looks pretty good. Do you think a beginner would be able to follow it without reading Digital Image Processing first?

Good question -- I'm interested in detecting objects in images. For example, whether or not a car is present in a photo.

Hey Will, this is very well done. It's clear you put a lot of hard work and thought into every aspect of Boomtango and it shows in the quality of your product. Kudos.

Funny -- I've been to both the Philly.rb meetings and the new Build Guild meetings and had no idea that this even existed. Is there any type of consolidated event site for these things? Regardless, I'll see you there.

Two things: 1) I use an iPhone todo app ( http://www.appigo.com/todo ) to jot down ideas as I get them in a "Projects" category. This lets me quickly browse through them at a later time. You can add notes too if your ideas are elaborate and

I'm leaning towards something to do with online collaboration, though I'm still working out the details and am open to new areas. I think Twitter is kind of stupid too.

Micah, thanks. My original thought process was that it'd be better to pick a long term ambitious project and launch a minimum viable product for it in two years (not a full project like I think I implied in the original post). As you and ot

Thanks. I'm halfway through Four Steps to Epiphany. Great book--made me realize I've been doing a lot of things poorly. I can't tell you how many times I've spent months working on an app with high expectations only to launch it and realize
