It is not Gnome fault. It is more related to design of GTK API

I made even podman quadlet ansible template for that (excluding x86 emulation part). It is dead simple and easy to fix. https://github.com/Mati365/hetzner-podman-bunjs-deploy

Why not just plain JS or TypeScript?

Recently I made C multipass compiler (and asembler) in typescript for such old x86 CPUs https://github.com/Mati365/ts-c-compiler

Slightly different idea but currently I'm working on C + Assembler Compiler to prototype and run such 512B games / apps for retro CPUs. https://github.com/Mati365/ts-c-compiler

I used to use rootless Podman Quadlet with autoupdate instead of docker compose. It seems to be much more stable and its integration with SystemD logs is great.

Agh yes, but it is quite hard to run node on such old CPUs

How do you update postgres on CoreOS? Its better to keep IT immutable so in case of change the whole image must be recreated?

I made similar project in TypeScript[1]. Basically multipass compiler that generates x86 assembly, compiles it to binary and runs it. The worst thing were register allocator, designing IR code and assembler. [1] https://github.co

Why not just use podman quadlet and systemd?

I used to deploy Podman Quadlet containers there and I'm super satisfied.

Recently I was working on something like that [1]. Basically I created simple C compiler (with IR and other stuff) that compiles code to basic X86 16bit instructions which can be directly booted into real mode. [1] https://github

Recently I'm working on toy C compiler and x86 Assembler in TypeScript[1] and I can confirm that the amount of work that have to be done to compile and print simple Hello World is astronomically huge (as the satisfaction) [1] https:&#
