Well, in 1980 Pyongyang was one of the most efficient cities in SE Asia while according to US officials Seoul was a heaving mess of "sweatshops to make Dante or Engels faint", and in 1948 ~100,000 Koreans sympathetic to the North were round

It doesn't take a propagandised population to hate Western people, it takes a propagandised population to be surprised at that hatred.

Prescriptivists would say it should be "one [..] upon his", but the author may wish to avoid using gender specific pronouns and is thus using the singular "their" instead.

I say this as a Maoist: Nikita Khrushchev was a revisionist striving for "peaceful coexistence with capitalism". I would also include countries who are striving to attain Full Communism in the definition of communism.

Denying communism and introducing capitalist reforms was kind of Nikita Khrushchev's thing to be fair.

What points did you make? You said you wouldn't continue with the lack of NATO-backing because you have more karma than me or whatever you meant by that. I don't ignore nor support the things that go on in the current regimes ceteris paribu

A comment I made almost two months ago is relevant here... how? And not refuted either, just pointed out? I quite support North Korea on the grounds of their anti-imperialism. That doesn't mean I support the regime (hyperbolised Western med

I also just find it plain weird talking to inanimate objects. I can't bring myself to use Google Now in public because I have this irrational fear of people thinking I'm a weirdo.

'Bad guys' is very subjective. I would argue that anyone who wants a flying death machine capable of killing people with a button-push from thousands of miles away is a 'bad guy'.

An app itself doesn't use much battery unless it's doing something CPU intensive. Android reports the actual thing that was using the battery. For example, if I watch YouTube until my battery's dead, it won't say YouTube used the battery, i

This is why neo-liberalism and social democracy do not work. You can reform capitalism all you like, right up until the upper class decides they'd quite like to go back to being many times richer than the working class.
