Yes, we sent Vehicle Examiners round as mystery shoppers. A lot of people seem to have this impression that MOT garages are all dodgy, but they get caught regularly. The machine learning piece of work on MOT is probably of a similar size to

Have you ever played an individual sport like tennis? I get a similar feeling, especially when you’re just in the zone and you can’t seem to make a mistake. Very therapeutic.

It’s just taking a materialist view of the world. E.g., a Marxist would argue our culture is shaped by the prevailing mode of production. Anarchists would also say that any hierarchical structures are imaginary. It’s not really nihilistic,

Hah same here. Half the time I ask someone to pair with me it’s because I simply cannot muster the motivation to do anything for whatever reason. I find I go through a couple of weeks of this a couple of times a year, I guess you’d call it

All I ever see is people in US TV saying “sir” and “ma’am”, is this inaccurate? I’m from the UK and similarly don’t believe in titles and I have never used or heard these words used in my life

I would find somewhere else to work if I had ethical concerns over what they were asking me to do. For example, the UK’s department of work and pensions was a contract the company I work for had at the time when there was a huge furore over
