Probably it won't help you, but Docker is working on my Arch with linux-aufs_friendly kernel.

Ctrl+c also works the same way as Escape in most contexts in Vim. So using CapsLock as Control may be a good generic solution.

I'm not a Rails developer, I have only done some simple webapps with it, so I have a question. Does Rails support websockets natively? If not then why? I haven't seen any request for integrating them in this thread.

Not sure if this is a good scenario for you, but I guess that there would be some people willing to pay via Bitcoin.

Using sslh one can actually host both https sites and ssh on one port. I used this to hop over a very restrictive firewall in my company, it works great.

It has great advantages by doing it this way. 1. For developer: - your application works exactly the same way on your development, test and production environment because of using exactly the same os/libs/configuration - very fast

Well, using Angular.js in a good way would actualy make possible to have the same flexibility without adding any code to the view layer. That said, it is possible but still not that easy to do. Native solution will probably be faster, more

I'm not sure how Google Drive works for synchronization, but if it does like for Dropbox (automatic filesystem sync) than you could use EncFs or git-annex with encryption enabled.

Haven't heard about lot of users complaining about the way Arch developers did it. In fact I think it works flawlessly.

There is a protocol called Zerocoin which may be integrated with Bitcoin. AFAIK it is currently being tested. However it's not sure if Bitcoin developers will integrate it with current protocol. In theory it makes possible to do totall

I also think that rebuilding from scratch is way better than some idemponent CM solution. I work at small scale - just need to have some services working on a vps and also manage my linux box. This is why I think that docker will be a grea

Well, Arch is not that good for a server because of this reason. I love it as a developer for a desktop system, but for server I'd definitely use Debian.
