SweepWings has some great build videos (and kits, for those interested). Not affiliated - just a fan. https://sweepwings.com/collections/frontpage/products/flinch...

That is great - I starred the repo. Are the original articles available somewhere?

Agreed. I cut my programming teeth on the Dr. Dobbs/Al Stevens "D-flat" series which was a text-based windowing system in C. Some of the most fun I've ever had programming. The hardest part was waiting for the next issue

Near the end of the article, Steve Blanks is quoted... Alternatively, Beijing may seek to negotiate with or coerce Taipei (or both) in order to allow China sole access to TSMC and block chip exports to the United States, thereby securing C

Just moved to the Charlotte, NC area. Love it here. Highly recommended. Cost of living is reasonable compared to SF/LA and tech jobs are plentiful.

In my opinion, the truth is somewhere between what the author is suggesting and what most developers actually do. I recently came across The Fallacy of Premature Optimization on ACM [1], which I think is a much better take on this topic. It

FAANG or no-FAANG, if they won't offer what you think you are worth, then walk away. I'm assuming you're a seasoned professional and not straight out of college. If the latter, are you sure you know what you're worth?

I love his “thurman” idea.... definitely going to use that the next time someone asks me for help with a computer problem. Ehh, maybe only in April since it’s a little mean.

We stare at text for hours on end, every day. We want the text to be functional... and pleasant to look at. I change fonts frequently, just to spice up my life - it's a little like changing your desktop background on a regular basis.
