    I bought this course and I did not like it. It is wayyy to verbose and way to slow even when playing in 2.5x the speed. I learned way more with this free version of the intro to swift https://www.udacity.com/course/ud58

    Maybe you should start thinking about doing more programing? In most teams there is one designer and more programmers so you may have a better chance of finding work.

    I think vanilla cocoa is being replaced slowly by cocoa touch. They will probably rename it and then force cocoa touch onto macosx. I don't see foundation changing much though. Maybe foundation touch "universal" is coming ;)

    if swift exited then this would have been great. By this time swift would have replaced javascript. Think of the way apple killed flash video. They could have killed javascript.

    I would have said you can do it like this as in swift. let x = 1231231 let z = 0 if z == 0 { println("Cant divide by zero") } else { println(x / z) } But swift doesn't support exceptions either. :/

    They could open source it and have other people use app engine if people want to use it. Otherwise if its open source people could implement what ever they want on the back end.
