That's a bit silly as web browsers are already using dirty texts and the system compositor to reduce power usage and they have to deal with arbitrary HTML, while flutter apps mostly(?) use standard widgets which they control. Though I

Moore's Law is Dead (a very accurate leaker) said zen 3 threadripper was cancelled except maybe a limited launch of TR Pro, IIRC. Which makes sense since there are severe EPYC shortages and those are more important and profitable produ

I expect it was disabled so that the P&E cores have the same ISA support and threads can be moved freely between them. A large portion of people, especially at launch, would be running on a scheduler which isn't optimized for ADL w

Well AFAICT the foundation isn't funding any developers at the moment, either. I remember from the discussions that was always a far-off goal. Though it probably does make it easier to coordinate donating hardware resources.

The capitalistic megaprojects of, say, 1750-1930 were much more likely to be beautiful than the modern ones. Incredibly ornate banks and rail terminus stations. Beautiful brick, stone, and cast-iron apartment buildings. Towering stone offic

I just ported a WPF app where the story is similar. Yes, I'd call it "full support". It's not a drop-in replacement, though, except for really simple apps. Check the Breaking Changes List for .NET 6[0], .NET 5, and .NET

You can fit much more detail into the same file size with just a grayscale JPEG at quality 50. Then you lose the dithering style and transparency, though.

Only getting 7GiB/s on a Ryzen 7 1800X w/DDR4 3000. Zen 1 executes AVX2 instructions at half speed, but that doesn't account for all of the difference. I guess I need a new computer. To run FizzBuzz.

Take a look at IanHubert's lazy blender tutorials: https://youtu.be/JjnyapZ_P-g . They're a minute long each, so not useful as tutorials. But they do a good job of showing generally what Blender can do, and how an

I don't hate yaml. It's a bit overcomplicated, a bit too cute, but it works. It doesn't leave a lot of room for additional complexity, though. I've been using Ansible a lot recently. I like it a lot, most of the time.

No. Shipping container prices have risen threefold. The transshipment companies who have to deal with the containers piling up don't own the containers, and can't sell them to you.
