That's kind of the point though. Options are (at least intended to be) compensation for a lower than market salary and a risk that the company might go bust. At the point that you're raising a Series E round you are going to be

I was a fan of Simmons's writing but there were still plenty of good writers left (Zach Lowe & Bill Barnwell being two). Hopefully Bill can just bring everyone over to his new thing and continue producing the same kind of content.

If you want to get pissed about a lack of competition in the pharmacy market then look at the two large PBMs. They set the prices of drugs that every drug store pays. If they choose to raise prices and the insurers don't move in loc

And this is the exact reason I left T-Mobile. AT&T have 4G coverage on pretty much the entire interstate system. When I had T-Mobile I'd drive from NYC to Columbus, OH and have no signal for the 8+ hours between the two cities.

Right, I think there is plenty of space for value-add in this market, it's just that Homejoy wasn't doing it. They thought they could act an uninterested intermediary whose focus was on scheduling and on demand cleaning but that&

The idea is to prevent free riders in a commodified market and allow for collective action. It's actually very similar to a union in that each individual member (or farm) is small and can't have much effect on their own. By organ
