No thanks, I very much prefer my serif fonts. If you prefer sans-serif for plain html pages, why don't you change the default font in your own browser instead of trying to convince everyone to force their preference onto everyone else?

Ugh, way to overdo it... #444 is WAY too low contrast. If black is too dark, I'll reduce the contrast of my monitor myself, so can y'all please stop trying to force me to squint to decipher your gray-on-gray oh-so-beautiful but un

No. MuPDF only supports a limited subset of HTML5 and CSS to support basic EPUB and FictionBook2.

Firefox has image rescaling that doesn't blow chunks at non-integer scales. For example scaling up the page 120% to be able to more easily read text that the designer made too small doesn't turn all the images on the page into a b

RC4 works fine. The only "problem" is its large state (2048) compared to the common LCG and Xorshift PRNGs which typically have anywhere between 32 and 256 bits of state. Sqlite3 uses RC4 for its random functions.

That's probably because you don't have a "real" middle button and are trying to use the awkward to click scroll wheel instead. If you want to go real old school and have a proper middle button, get an HP DY651A optical 3

It may be fine to you. It's still not fine to me. The other pickers have icons to indicate what they are (calendar and clock) so why not a color palette to provide a similar hint? Needing to read the context to figure out if it's

I really do not like this design. The text is a really hard to read low contrast blue-gray text on a blue-gray background. The flat design has zero UI affordances. I can't tell the difference between a highlight, a button, and a text f

As you mention they're not just offset differently, they're also at different resolutions. In theory you can achieve something similar by rendering at a higher resolution and downsampling with an appropriate filter, but then you&#

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I personally can't stand any form of Cleartype-style rendering -- the color fringing stands out terribly. I vastly prefer a somewhat blurrier but stable grayscale than seeing a red-blue shimmer thr

"Subpixel" rendering (a.k.a. cleartype) that abuses color fringing to provide higher luminance resolution only works when you have pixels made of three RGB columns. Mobile screens usually use a pentile pattern, so this trick is no

Rendering fast is nice, but when are they going to make the rendering look good? Image scaling at non-integer scales in Chrome is atrocious -- either coming out a blurry or aliased mess. I almost always need to zoom in 20% to 50% because we

And why do you have to move the clock at all? Just change your working hours and go to bed later or earlier depending on the season. So much effort wasted world wide just to avoid changing the hours you force people to show up at work...

It takes the same space in the flow as if not transformed, but it will take clicks and other mouse events using the transformed size and position. In your example table, transform:scale(0) will behave like visibility:hidden.

I'll gladly suffer a little bit worse rendering performance and have images resized with good rescaling filters than the blurry pixelated mess that Chrome renders whenever the zoom isn't exactly 100%. It's easy to do well on

Cost saving is not the purpose. The purpose of this and other things like armrests on benches is to drive away the homeless and the poor so the rich don't have to see them.

The font-family list in the stylesheet is both too long and weirdly specific, yet incomplete. I don't have any of these very specific Windows, Apple, or Android fonts installed on my machine, so it picks the first one it can find which
