Awesome! I love OCaml and this is a great way to get some apps running in the browser. I particularly like the simple OpenGL example with the 3D globe. Great way to get your app onto multiple platforms quickly.

I think everybody who is a programmer should learn some assembly language...not so much for code optimization, but rather to understand how the computer + compiler work underneath the hood. You don't need to be able to write crazy advanced

Interesting article, though the title is a bit misleading. I'd say a better one would be "Design Patterns of Functional Languages" as the author is comparing common functional design patterns (monads, functors) to GoF OO design patterns. I

It depends on your background (CS and math are very very useful) and which track you're going for (standard vs advanced). I believe Norvig & Russell's textbook is being used for the class, which is the standard for AI classes at univers
