I think that self-awareness is more than a matter of (classical) computation. The immediacy of subjective experience implies an entanglement of states, as when one observes one's own self. The marbles would have to be coherent in a car

I don't know if subjective experience is possible while self-coherent. You need to entangle with only one of your states to have any experience.

Ideally, the code should read as close to plain English as possible. There's still a trade-off between specifying it in one place and synchronizing two pieces of text so that they basically say the same thing.

You have to bring the x up a bit higher and/or make it bigger. I had the same problem, but with "dy" becoming "d_y".
