I use the Zettelkasten method for tech notes. Even made a video on it a while back if you're interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jbvEJvTwllk

That fails the explicit consent test for GDPR for what I understand. You can always opt out at any time to.

I use them and they’re a joy to use. Dashboard is just as simple. No managed databases or kubernetes clusters though. Hoping that’s in the works as it will really level up their offering if they do.

In a book (about the brain) I read. It made the case for using softer shoes or bare feet as we get older. The reasoning is that if you use hard shoes to navigate stairs, you lose the sensation of what you’re walking in making it more likely

Wouldn't that be a huge effort though, as you'd have to essentially implement deliverability and spam all from scratch, all while trying to convince gmail users to switch. I tried Hey and found that it just wasn't going to wo

I would say that looks at the state of things as they are today, which may not be the case as technology advances. If there's a service that provides a real competitive advantage that is only available outside of Europe, then this migh

You can make them responsive easy enough if you override all the table styling. I've done that before. For me it's the semantic meaning, a table is tabular data. However, I must say that using CSS grid is just like the old table-b

I’ve been thinking for a while that all dishwashers seems to use the same method of refilling rinse aid, but the mechanism is so unintuitive and unlike any other appliance you refill. Anyone know why they are designed like this?

This reminds me of the 'power over wifi' research[1]. If a wifi signal goes through your building and you harness the power from it, at the expense of the next building from benefiting from the signal, is that stealing? 1. https:

Is that the case for non-digital goods? When I look at my credit card statement, all the Amazon transactions go to Great Britain.

I personally believe that the gap to a life-like virtual experience will be closed with the use of neural networks generating the experience. I also believe that's a long way off. Reminds me a bit of 'photorealistic cg'. The

I once got told my my manager to reduce the cost of my email inbox on the server and download it to my local machine. This was email provided and owned by the very company I worked for, and it was costing enough for management to care. Mayb

I think it is like the car industry. The push to electric vehicles has forced companies to adapt, reskill and do the R&D because they know their business will be going away in 10+ years. I would like to think that heavy R&D into ren

My guess would be the rise of supermarkets. Newsagents, post offices, grocers, sweet shops I suspect have been decimated by supermarkets and more people with cars to get to them.
